Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using 1Card ("the service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

2. Who can use 1Card

You must be at least 18 years old (or the legal age of consent in your jurisdiction) and capable of entering into a binding contract. Business accounts may be opened on behalf of registered entities by their authorised representatives.

3. Subscription plans and billing

• 1Card offers Lite (RM 88/year) and Pro (RM 148/year) plans, billed annually in Malaysian Ringgit.
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.
• Payments are processed by Stripe. We don't store your card details.
• Prices may change for new subscribers — existing subscribers are grandfathered for at least 12 months.
• NFC cards are sold separately at RM 79 per card.

4. Free trial

New subscribers may get a 7-day free trial. The trial auto-converts to your chosen paid plan unless cancelled. You may cancel anytime from the dashboard.

5. Refunds

We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee on first subscriptions only. After the 7-day window, we don't issue prorated refunds for unused time, but you may cancel anytime — your subscription remains active until the end of your paid period.

6. Acceptable use

You agree NOT to use 1Card to:

• Impersonate another person or entity.
• Share unlawful, harassing, defamatory, or discriminatory content.
• Distribute spam, malware, phishing, or scam links.
• Violate intellectual property, trademark, or privacy rights of others.
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or attempt to compromise the service.
• Resell or whitelabel 1Card without a separate written agreement.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, with or without notice.

7. Your content

You retain ownership of everything you upload to your card (photos, text, brochures, PDFs). By uploading, you grant 1Card a non-exclusive licence to host, display, and deliver your content to visitors of your card URL. You can delete your content anytime.

8. Intellectual property

The 1Card platform, brand, source code, and design are owned by 1Card. You may not copy, reproduce, or use them without written permission, except as expressly allowed by these terms.

9. Service availability

We target 99.9% uptime, but the service is provided "as is" without uptime guarantees. We perform occasional maintenance with prior notice when possible. We are not liable for downtime caused by force majeure, third-party providers, or your local network.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Malaysian law, our total liability for any claim relating to 1Card is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages.

11. Termination

You may close your account anytime via the dashboard. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these terms, abuse our systems, or harm other users. Upon termination, your card URL goes offline within 24 hours and your data is purged per our Privacy Policy.

12. Changes to terms

We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced 30 days in advance via email. Continued use of 1Card after the change date constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Kuala Lumpur.
